Who is Mary?
Hello my name is Mary, and I’m a seasoned sales executive skilled at helping people understand the complex world of insurance. With over 30 years of experience in the sales, marketing, and management sector of the insurance and financial industry, I am well equipped with the knowledge and expertise to get the job done. On the surface, I am responsible for identifying effective solutions to various client problems. But in simple terms, I meet with potential clients to establish their personal needs and desired coverage, conduct open enrollments, and ensure everyone is getting the best out of their benefits.
Caring and resilient, I have dedicated my career to serving my clients, opening doors for my peers, and achieving some personal goals along the way. I started in 1985 at New England Mutual Insurance Company as a sales representative. Shortly after, I accepted a position as a sales and marketing consultant at Resurgens Risk Management, where I provided intense training and support to new agents. After ten years in the industry, I joined AFLAC , and became a top regional sales associate and district coordinator of Aflac Georgia North until 2012.
It was in the same year that I launched my own agency under the name Mary Brown McKinney Insurance. MBM is a full-service insurance brokerage firm specializing in both individual and group coverage, as well as voluntary benefit. We also offer property and casualty, retirement planning, and identity protection to ensure a wide range of services.
As thankful as I am to have achieved so much, what I really pride myself on is my client service. The thing that sets me aside from the rest of the bunch is my genuine care and respect I have for my clients. I believe everyone has a story to tell, and my empathetic nature allows me to connect with people no matter what walk of life they come from. Through consistent delivery, I’ve built a reputation that reflects my dependability, honesty, and strong work ethic.
